On 12th September 2025, the UK celebrates the very first National Data Centre Day (NDCD) – an awareness day dedicated to recognising the critical role data centres play in powering the digital economy, enabling Artificial Intelligence (AI), and keeping society connected.

Why This Date Matters
This date holds special significance: it marks one year since the UK Government formally recognised data centres as part of the nation’s Critical National Infrastructure (CNI). For us, this recognition highlights why precision, safety, and resilience in infrastructure management are so important.
