Drone Gutter Surveys

Blocked or damaged gutters are one of the most common causes of leaks, damp and internal water damage, but they are hard to see from the ground. A drone gutter survey captures every run close up, without ladders, scaffold or a MEWP.

We inspect eaves, box and valley gutters, outlets, hoppers and downpipes, recording blockages, vegetation, debris, failed joints, sagging sections and damage.

Each issue is located on a marked-up roof plan, so your maintenance team or contractor knows exactly where to go and what to bring.

__ Before & after

Proof the work has been done

Gutter cleaning and repairs happen out of sight. A drone survey before and after the work gives you a clear, dated record that every run has been cleared or repaired.

It’s a simple way for facilities teams to check contractor work, and for contractors to show clients what they have done.

Every gutter, outlet and downpipe, checked.

__ Why drones

Why use drones for gutter surveys?

Checking gutters by ladder or MEWP is slow, risky and often only covers what is easy to reach. A drone captures every run close up in a single visit, including box and valley gutters hidden from the ground.

__ How it works

Our gutter survey process

From first enquiry to secure delivery, every survey follows the same six steps, so you always know what happens next and when.

01

Tell us about the property

Send us the address and tell us about any known leaks or problem areas. We’ll plan the flight to cover every run.

02

Planning and quote

We carry out a desktop assessment of the property and the surrounding airspace, check the survey against current UK drone regulations, and prepare your quote. You receive it by email with no obligation, along with the airspace map for your site and an example delivery so you can see exactly what you’ll be getting.

03

Booking your date

Once you’re happy with the quote we add your job to the schedule and start monitoring the Met Office forecast. In the meantime we prepare the pre-flight paperwork, including our risk assessment and method statement (RAMS), which we can send over for your records. As soon as we have a clear weather window and pilot availability, we confirm your attendance date. You don’t normally need to be on site.

04

The survey

Our CAA approved pilots capture each gutter, outlet and downpipe close up, along with overview images of the roof.

05

Processing

Issues are logged, located on a marked-up plan and delivered with the imagery through our online portal.

06

Delivery

We email you a link to our secure online portal, where your imagery, reports and any other agreed outputs are ready to view, download and share with your team or contractors. Alongside the deliverables you’ll find a folder containing the pre-flight paperwork, a copy of the drone airspace map for your site and any other relevant documents, so everything from the survey is in one place.
