Multi-Site & Portfolio Surveys
Drone Site Surveys are multi-site roof, façade and data collection specialists. With pilots across the UK, we can react quickly and deliver surveys across large portfolios without compromising on quality or consistency.
Our drones capture high-resolution imagery of roofs, elevations and hard-to-reach areas on any property type, domestic or commercial, and our reports give clear appraisals of condition, highlighting what needs repair or maintenance.
Because every site is captured the same way, you can compare assets like-for-like and build the data into your planned maintenance programmes, helping extend the life of your buildings.

Why drones
Why use drones across your portfolio?
Inspecting roofs and façades across dozens or hundreds of buildings is slow and costly with ladders and scaffolding. Drones capture the same detail, safely, in a fraction of the time and at better price points.
- No one at height. Every roof and façade is captured without ladders or scaffolding.
- Faster programmes. Several sites a day means large portfolios are surveyed in weeks, not months.
- Consistent every time. The same method and deliverables across every property.
- Beyond imagery. Add thermal surveys, 3D models, Matterport scans and CAD as needed.
- Built for large clients. Housing providers, facilities managers, surveyors and insurers.
Portfolio · Roof & Facade capture
Every roof and elevation recorded the same way, at every site. Cost savings on multisite inspections passed to you the client.

How it works
Our multi-site survey process
From first enquiry to secure delivery, every survey follows the same six steps, so you always know what happens next and when.
Tell us about the property
Send us your portfolio list or a sample of addresses, and what you need from each site. We’ll come back with the options available and a programme to suit.
Planning and quote
We carry out a desktop assessment of the property and the surrounding airspace, check the survey against current UK drone regulations, and prepare your quote. You receive it by email with no obligation, along with the airspace map for your site and an example delivery so you can see exactly what you’ll be getting.
Booking your date
Once you’re happy with the quote we add your job to the schedule and start monitoring the Met Office forecast. In the meantime we prepare the pre-flight paperwork, including our risk assessment and method statement (RAMS), which we can send over for your records. As soon as we have a clear weather window and pilot availability, we confirm your attendance date. You don’t normally need to be on site.
The survey
Our CAA approved pilots capture each site in UHD 4K, following the same method at every location, with thermal and 3D capture where specified.
Processing
Every image is checked and organised into colour-coded folders. Any thermal analysis or property condition reporting you’ve asked for is completed at this stage.
Delivery
We email you a link to our secure online portal, where your imagery, reports and any other agreed outputs are ready to view, download and share with your team or contractors. Alongside the deliverables you’ll find a folder containing the pre-flight paperwork, a copy of the drone airspace map for your site and any other relevant documents, so everything from the survey is in one place.

Frequently Asked
Questions
Answers to the questions we are asked most often about multi-site drone surveys. If yours is not covered here, give us a call.
What is a multi-site drone survey?
A programme of drone surveys across a portfolio of properties, with every site captured using the same method and deliverables. It’s ideal for housing providers, facilities managers and anyone responsible for multiple buildings.
How many sites can you survey in a day?
The number of properties we can inspect in a single day depends on their size, location and the scope of the survey. We carefully plan each inspection programme to maximise efficiency, often enabling our pilots to survey multiple sites in a single day. By coordinating inspections geographically and making the most of each pilot’s time on site, we can significantly reduce the overall cost of surveying your portfolio.
How is the data delivered?
Through a secure, branded online portal where all images, reports, 3D models and data are organised by property, so your team can find what they need without large file transfers.
Can you produce planned maintenance schedules?
We partner with RICS surveyors who can provide 1, 2 or 5-year planned maintenance schedules based on our imagery and data.
What else can be added to a portfolio survey?
Our additional deliverables include detailed roof condition reports, internal Matterport 3D scans, accurate 3D models and point clouds, CAD drawings and BIM-ready models. We also offer thermal heat loss surveys undertaken by our BINDT Level 2 qualified thermographers.
Using the survey data we capture, we can also produce measured floor plans, building elevations and cross-sections in DWG format, providing valuable information for property management, maintenance planning, refurbishment and design projects.
Can different property types go in one programme?
Yes. Houses, flats, schools, offices and commercial units can all be included. We capture each one to the same standard, so results are consistent across the portfolio.
Do you need access to every property?
In most cases, our external drone inspections can be completed without requiring access to the property, provided there is a suitable and safe take-off and landing area nearby. Where internal surveys or Matterport scans are required, we will coordinate access arrangements with you, your tenants or residents to minimise disruption.
How do you plan a multi-site programme?
We work with you to agree the site list, survey deliverables and inspection priorities before developing an efficient, geographically coordinated programme. As drone inspections are weather-dependent, we plan and adapt our schedule around suitable flying conditions, maximising the number of sites each pilot can complete per day. This flexible approach helps minimise travel, improve efficiency and deliver significant cost savings across your portfolio.
As each inspection is completed, the imagery, reports and associated deliverables are uploaded to your dedicated online portal, giving your team access to results as the programme progresses.
