Introduction

Drone Site Surveys Ltd is committed to operating as a socially responsible organisation, ensuring that modern slavery, human trafficking, and other forms of exploitation have no place within our business operations or supply chains. This statement highlights the actions undertaken in the past year to uphold our values, as outlined in the Modern Slavery Act 2015.

Steps Taken to Combat Modern Slavery

Over the last year, we have implemented the following measures to prevent and address the risk of modern slavery in our operations:

  1. Risk Assessment and Mitigation:
    • Conducted regular risk assessments across our supply chain to identify areas vulnerable to modern slavery.
    • Focused on high-risk suppliers and implemented controls to mitigate identified risks.
  2. Supplier Due Diligence:
    • Ensured all new and existing suppliers comply with our Modern Slavery Policy.
    • Introduced robust due diligence processes, including supplier audits and compliance checks, as part of our procurement strategy.
  3. Training and Awareness:
    • Delivered targeted training sessions to employees and contractors to improve awareness of modern slavery risks and how to report concerns.
    • Embedded modern slavery awareness into our onboarding and supplier induction programmes.
  4. Reporting Mechanisms:
    • Maintained a confidential, secure email reporting system for employees, suppliers, and stakeholders to raise concerns regarding potential exploitation.
  5. Policy Updates:
    • Reviewed and updated our Modern Slavery Policy to reflect best practices and legislative requirements, ensuring its effectiveness and relevance.

Progress and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

We measure the success of our efforts through the following KPIs:

  • Training: 100% of employees and contractors have received training on modern slavery awareness.
  • Supplier Compliance: 95% of active suppliers have confirmed adherence to our Modern Slavery Policy.
  • Reported Concerns: No incidents of modern slavery or human trafficking were reported in our operations or supply chain this year.
